ABOUT WICHITA FALLS MAN
I POST RANDOM STUFF on Wichita Falls, Hobby Radio communications, and more. I've been on the CB Radio since 1964, on Amateur (ham) Radio since 1982, and I've held an Amateur "Extra" license since 1983. I am not a member of any radio club, group, or organization, however it is legal to intercept and divulge CB Radio & Amateur Radio communications.
I received a Private Pilot Certificate in 1972. Just for fun, I went on to earn an Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-Engine Rating, Flight Instructor Rating, and Instrument Instructor Rating. I also enjoyed jumping out of airplanes, even the "perfectly good" ones. That was all in another life. My college major, in that other life, was Political Science. I never discuss politics.
This simple, static, script-free website has one function: to put my text on your screen. Content Management Systems (CMS), such as WordPress, are bloated overkill for my needs. Because this site is static and script-free, comments are not possible. While I might mention websites, other than sites for which I am an affiliate, I don't link to them.
Cookies are not used. Personal information is not collected. All outbound links on this site are Amazon Affiliate Links. If you make a purchase through my links, I will earn a commission. You don't have to buy radios, any purchase helps!
Wichita Falls is a big one-horse town and I'm okay with that.
