09-23-2023 - I have the CB Radio volume turned down right now as I watch Coach Prime get quacked by the Oregon Ducks. I'll check on the radio later this evening.
09-23-2023 - The tiny Z-Match QRP antenna tuner arrived today. Still waiting on the QCX Mini 20-Meter QRP CW transceiver.
09-23-2023 - CB Radio stations heard this morning: 479 in Eastern Tennessee, 351 in North Carolina, 390 in Tennessee, 164 in Tennessee, 135 in Illinois, and 189 in New York.
09-23-2023 - I've been monitoring CW (Morse code) on the 20-meter band while watching college football. The Maine QSO Party is in progress, as well as a few special event stations.
09-23-2023 - CB Radio Channel 38 is coming alive with NW36 booming in from Bangor, Maine. I hear other unidentified stations in the background. Channels 11 and 28 are also showing activity. It's going to be a good day!
09-23-2023 - CB Radio Channel 6 is coming alive with muffled chatter down in the noise. It won't be long before all DX channels will be active.

09-23-2023 - Good Morning! It's Saturday, and it's coffee time! Not a peep on the CB Radio yet. All channels are still asleep. Local traffic on Channel 19 will probably be light all day. Things will probably be wild later!
09-22-2023 - The CB Radio band is still quite active. You know it's crowded when people are DX'ing on Channel 14!
09-22-2023 - The CB Radio band is wide open and 38 LSB is wall-to-wall signals. No single station is dominating, but let's see how things develop.
09-22-2023 - Good Morning! I'm kicking off the latest version of this site with a cup of Folgers Black Silk, monitoring CB Radio Channel 19 for local traffic, and waiting for the band to open up wide! That local traffic, by the way, is a little sparse this morning. Let's see what the day brings.

09-17-2023 - I think more cities should start recognizing the contributions of Amateur Radio Skywarn Storm Spotters. These "hams" donate not only their time but risk their safety. And let's not forget the expense of fuel and the wear and tear on their vehicles.
